Sri Lanka Crisis Live News: Protests erupted at the Trincomalee Naval Base in Sri Lanka after it was known that the former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and some of his family members were taking shelter, as per sources.
As per a media report by NewsWire, after leaving the official residence in Colombo, the ex-PM and his family members were put up at the naval base. In a tweet, it reported that a protest was underway in front of the Trincomalee Naval Base where it was claimed that former PM Mahinda Rajapaksa and his family members were staying.
