ANC MPs and high profile ministers implicated in the Bosasa scandal were quiet on Monday. The SABC reached out for comment to ANC MP, Vincent Smith, and Minister Nomvula Mokonyane, to no avail. The City Press has published an expose claiming that Smith, who sits on an even chairs several parliamentary committees, was paid at least R670 thousand by the controversial facilities management group over three years. It is further claimed that ministers Gwede Mantashe and Nomvula Mokonyane received high end CCTV cameras, alarm systems and electric fencing. Bosasa, which is headquartered in Krugersdorp, changes its name to African Global Operations in 2017.
To discuss we're joined by the City Press journalist on skype, Kyle Cowan.
