The Brighton Wheel is a transportable Ferris wheel installation erected in October 2011 on the seafront in Brighton, part of the English city of Brighton and Hove. . The Brighton Wheel is 45 metres (148 ft) in diameter, and has a maximum height of 50 metres (160 ft) above sea level.
The Brighton Marine Palace and Pier is a pleasure pier in Brighton, England, which opened in 1899 after costing a record £27,000 to build. It is generally known as the Palace Pier. The pier was renamed "Brighton Pier" in 2000, although this legal change is not recognised by the National Piers Society or some of the residents of Brighton and Hove.
