Once a tourist spot, Taal Volcano, in just an instant, is now the cause of misery to thousands of residents in nearby towns.
In Calaca town in Batangas, residents of Agoncillo, Lemery, and Taal flocked for refuge after the volcano expelled large clouds of ash on January 12, displacing those within the 14-kilometer radius danger zone to evacuation sites.
