This week on The Spectrum:
* Ohio voters will decide Issue 1 in a little more than a week, and the battle lines are drawn.
“This is quite simply about protecting the Ohio constitution about what may be to come,” said Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose.
“This came directly from politicians who were afraid that they were going to lose their grip on power,” said Ohio House Minority Leader Allison Russo.
The arguments for and against the measure, and what leaders on both sides said it could mean come November.

* Millions of dollars in ad spending both for and against Issue 1, but where is that money coming from?
“You’re going to see the money flowing,” said media strategist Bob Clegg. “At least 90% on both sides is coming from outside of Ohio.”
Why Clegg said what Ohioans are seeing on their screens and in their mailboxes is unprecedented.
* “That’s what they’ve done in other parts of the country and I’ll be damned if I’m going to let it happen in Ohio,” Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) said.
Ohio’s senators are working on two proposals, one to protect national security and the other to protect regional banks.
“I know if there is a banking crisis, they’re not going to get bailed out,” Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) said.
How each bill could impact Ohioans.
* Who won this week’s Issue 1 debate, and what will it mean for the Aug. 8 election? Attorney and former Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Morgan Harper and attorney and Republican strategist Mehek Cooke discuss the contentious issue at the all-star roundtable.
