This video discusses the beginning of English literature written by Indians like Kashi Prasad Ghosh & Soochi Chander Dutt. The video also discusses the first English novel written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee entitled "Rajmohan's Wife" & the literary contributions of Toru Dhatt. The video is recorded from an online class conducted by Dr.Salim Ph.D. for UGC students. Watching the video will give the feeling that you are attending a lecture in a classroom. Please don't spoil the future generation by teaching them English in Hindi or in other languages like Marathi, Urdu, or Malayalam!
