Funding Systems Change: City-Community-University Partnerships to Support Transformation
The City of Tempe will present how it used a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Grant to create new programs and new funding pipelines. This is an opportunity to learn from the Office of Sustainability and Resilience at the City of Tempe on how it is developing city-university-community partnerships for resilience to extreme heat, energy equity, youth engagement, local food and urban forestry. This sixty-minute presentation will highlight City of Tempe- Arizona State University and Community partnerships and should provide inspiration for how cities and counties can approach grants to support their own systems change work and their own partnerships.
