Killington top to bottom via Great Northern-East Fall- Spillway:
K1 Base is the highest elevation base at 2500 feet. As such, it is the first to open and last to close during Killington’s long season. A new K1 lodge is currently under construction and while it was open during our trip in Jan of 2023, there was ongoing work inside the building at that time.
The K1 Gondola takes you to the top of Killington Peak, the highest lift served point in Vermont. From here, one can ski to any other lift on the mountain. There are intermediate trails such as Great Northern, as well as expert trails such as Cascade and Downdraft.
In this video, we have captured one of the steepest ski trails in Killington VT Ski Resort.
The entire route shown in this video gives you unique possibility of skiing from Killington Peak down to the K1 Lodge via best part of the Great Northern, Blue and Black section of East Fall and get you to the lodge via Spillway.
