Lecture 2 finishes the qubit constructions of type II and type III algebras. It then covers Tomita-Takesaki theory and the definition of relative entropy for von Neumann algebras. It concludes by introducing local algebras in quantum field theory and discussing the Reeh-Schlieder theorem, Haag duality, and the Bisognano-Wichmann theorem.
