While in Pakse for several days, we rented a scooter. It's 150cc, as we double, and having the extra power makes it nice. Renting a scooter gives us the freedom to explore, and today, we did just that. We are off to explore Tad Gneuang and Tad Champee Waterfalls. Another waterfall in the area, Tad Fane Waterfall, has a zip line that travels across the falls. But since we do not zipline, we passed.
Traveling out to that area is a pleasant 45-minute drive; the road is good and not that busy with traffic.
The first waterfall we visited was Tad Gneuang which we did not swim in, we actually only seen one person swimming in this one. The second waterfall of the day was Tad Champee. We had some difficulty finding it, but we eventually made it there. The water was cool and refreshing.
We would recommend visiting as these are both beautiful falls and a nice break from Pakse,
