Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta
This is one of my favorite dishes because it has all the flavors that I love! Perfectly seared chicken, crispy bacon and the ranch flavoring that everybody enjoys!
Ingredients
1 lb. Spiral pasta noodles
2 chicken breast split in half
6 slices of bacon chopped
2 broccoli heads chopped
1 ½ c. Half and half
½ c. Sour cream
½ c. Reserve pasta water
1 c. Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. Dried dill
2 tsp. Dried parsley
1 ½ tsp. Onion powder
1 ½ tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp. Kosher salt
4 tbsp. Butter divided
Salt, pepper and garlic seasoning for chicken
Start by cooking your pasta according to box instructions. Make sure you add some salt to the water. And save some reserve pasta water.
And a skillet set to medium heat. Add chopped bacon pieces. And cook until crispy and brown.
While you're bacon is cooking, season your chicken.
Remove your bacon and set aside to drain.
In the same skillet, save some of the bacon grease and add some butter. About 1 tablespoon.
Let your butter melt down and once bubbly add in your seasoned chicken.
Cook your chicken until it's golden brown on each side and cooked through. Remove from the heat.
Wipe out your skillet a little bit. If there's too much oil. Leave some of the fond left from the chicken in the bottom of the skillet.
Next, add in 3 tablespoons of butter and melt down.
Once melted, add in your half and half, and ½ c. reserve pasta water.
Had in your seasoning of Dill, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder and kosher salt.
Mixed together.
Once it starts to bubble, add in your sour cream and chopped broccoli.
Cook down for about 2 minutes and then add pasta, bacon and chicken.
Mix everything together and let it cook for about 2 to 3 more minutes.
Turn off the heat, then add in your Parmesan cheese.
Serve it up and enjoy!
