To receive questions (pertaining to the committee’s remit) from members of the public

04 MINUTES
To receive and approve the minutes of the meeting held on 6 January 2022.

05 EVENTS
To confirm the events for 2022-23, i.e. volunteer signposting fair, brass band concerts, seaside event, bonfire night, pantomimes, Christmas lights switch on and any other events the committee decides upon.

06 YOUTH CLUB
The town clerk to report on the youth club attendance figures.

07 HEMSWORTH WATER PARK (including the café bar)
To consider the following matters:
a) Request from WMDC’s Children and Young People’s Service to book
Playworld for fun days on 27 and 28 July 2022.
b) Request to grow ‘seaweed’ in one of the lakes.
c) Paths in the park – repair and/or comprehensive replacement.
d) Income.
e) Memorial garden – location.

08 SANDYGATE FOOTBALL FACILITY
To consider quotes for FA (re)certification of the 3g pitch.

09 ALLOTMENTS
To consider the following matters:
a) Wanneville site – an update on the ‘car park’.
b) Newstead site – a request for a second beehive.
c) Grove Lane site – an appeal regarding a caravan, further to minute no.
339(a).

10 FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUESTS
The town clerk to report on (anonymized) freedom of information requests
received and to authorize the respective responses accordingly.

11 EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC
Members of the public and the press to be (virtually) excluded for the
consideration of business of a confidential nature, as per the Public Bodies
Admissions to Meetings Act 1960.

To consider a security matter at one of the allotment sites.
