Mom’s pierogi 🥟 recipe, yo:
- cook (thru!) 1 potato
- finely chop and fry 2 onions on 1/3 of butter knobbbbb
- top up your drinks 🍸 or take another puff 💨
- mush up together a pack of cottage cheese, the potato and 1/2 of the fried onion, season well
- now let’s move onto dough, yo
- add a cup of warm water to a half of kg of flour and work that biiish till your hands almost fall off (add more water or flour if needed)
- cut in 4 pieces
- on a big board and your roller smear heaps of flour
- place your 1/4 of dough and roll it out thin, cut circles with a glass
- fill them with the mix and close off
- put in boiling water and cook for 2 min after they pop to the surface
- heat up the rest of the onion and pour over plated pierogis 🥟
