Yellowstone National Park has over 10,000 hydrothermal features. Take a walk around the iconic Grand Prismatic Spring and the Excelsior Geyser Crater, and one will be awestruck. When I went there very early in the morning, there was so much steam that I couldn’t see the Grand Prismatic Spring at all. Eventually the steam subsided and I realized I was right next to it!
