Here's a how to prepare an overgrown garden bed for vegetable planting. We need to plant immediately and don't have time to wait for the weeds to die off. Instead of killing them with a heat mat (black plastic), we are ripping them by the roots out of the ground which will enable us to plant the same day.
G'Day welcome to our channel - Hidden Acres Homestead. If you're keen to watch a bare block of land get converted into a functioning homestead then this is the place to be. We're not just talking about popping house onto the land, but the adventure of setting up the land. We'll be fencing, working our lowline angus cattle, making vegie gardens, building a food forest, finding alternative power solutions, and sourcing clean water.
This is our secondary channel. Our first channel was started back in January 2017. It's a lifestyle channel about living a life in a rural Australian community (Dysart, QLD). Our boys host the channel and Jasmine films and edit etc. If you want to check that out then head over to www.youtube.com/c/downunderbrothers
