Jason Vong takes the new Sony 24-70mm G Master II for a spin! The updated lens has huge improvements in many areas such as being much lighter, having a speed boost in autofocus, and a much closer minimum focusing distance compared to the first version that was released nearly 6 years ago! While it’s hard to convey how much of a weight difference is between this and the original version in video, the difference can be felt! Especially those who own any variations of a 24-70mm f/2.8 in the past! Jason believes the 2nd version will be a joy to use for those who are seeking a lightweight versatile lens but avoided the other 24-70s that are in the market.
