NOTICE TO TRAVELERS ARRIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES
MERSCOV and EBOLA are DEADLY infectious disease cause by viruses that may affect passengers like you.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
1. Retrieve the CHECKLIST from Flight Attendant
• Fill up the form while in the plane to avoid long lines
2. Fill up COMPLETE ADRESS AND CONTACT NUMBER IN THE PHILIPPINES
• Will be used for contact tracing in case a person with the disease was onboard with you in the plane.
3. Surrender CHECKLIST to QUARANTINE PERSONNEL
4. OBSERVE your health for 21 days
5. SEEK Medical help immediately to get tested for the disease (if symptoms occur)

MERSCOV is a highly fatal respiratory illness presenting an influenza-like illness characterized by fever, cough, and often with diarrhea. Diagnosis of the disease is made through serology and/or DNA tests while treatment remains supportive.
There are still no travel restrictions to and from the Middle East countries. Filipino travelers to the Middle East countries are advised to avoid contact with persons with influenza-like illness and should observe frequent hand washing. They must report to any hospital if they become ill after 14 days from arrival and prevent visits to crowded places until symptoms disappear.

Fever, headache, intense weakness, joint and muscle pains, and sore throat; this is followed by vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, rash, impaired kidney and liver function, and in some cases, both internal and external bleeding; sometimes, rash, red eyes, hiccups, and bleeding from body openings may be seen in some patients.
If you experience these early signs/symptoms + you travelled from West Africa (US/Spain) (Middle East for MERS-CoV), or have been in contact with someone who has recently been there, please inform the airport authorities
