How I Travelled To South Korea During The Pandemic | 14 Day Government Quarantine Facility Room Tour
Hey! If you are looking at this video because you might be travelling to South Korea, I hope my video and tips will be able to help you!
Share with me your trip too if you made it!
✿Things to take note of when you are travelling to South Korea (with a valid visa) based on my own experience✿
✦ PCR Pre-Departure Test needs to be within 72 hours at the point of arrival
✦ Buy & receive Korean SIM card before you fly (the officer will call you on the spot, you need to receive this call.)
✦ Korean contact person (this person needs to pick up the call when you are at the custom)
✦ Download 2 apps (one by the custom, and one by the hotel
✦ Prepare your korean address in BOTH English & Korean you will need to key this into the app (KR one is easily to find)
✦ 15 day quarantine not 14 day, unless you arrive at the facility at 11.59pm because the 14 days must be a 24hr completed day
✦ Record your temperature twice a day in the apps
✦ Bring cash in case your card don't work, may stay was 1.68mil won (and my card didn't work!)
✦ The custom officer asked me if I was paying for my own quarantine, I said yes, if I said no... would I have gone to a better $$$ hotel?
✦ You cannot leave your room during the quarantine
✦ To receive your food outside the door, you have to wear a mask too!
✦ You can deliver parcels and dry food into your room, you cannot have food delivery
✦ Be sure to stay calm and cool down at the custom, having a high temperature will get you stuck
✦ Wear a N95 mask, there will be a lot of foreigners at the custom you cannot avoid
✦ Prepare your korean address in BOTH English & Korean you will need to key this into the app
✦ The Government Facility has explicitly mentioned on paper that they are a facility and not a hotel (don't expect 5 star services)
✦ There are frequent checks by officers who will enter your room to take body temperature, never travel if you are not feeling well...
✦ Breakfast, lunch and dinner all provided, no need to bring too much ramen, maybe snacks and desserts :)
Be sure to stay tuned and subscribe to my channel, coming up next I will be doing a quarantine food review video!
✿Things You Need During The Quarantine✿

✦ Extension cable plug
✦ International adapter plug
✦ Fabric to lay on chairs and resting areas (you're going to be sitting on that chair for 14 days! Same as the resident before you!)
✦ Scissors
✦ Your favourite Sauces (I find bringing chili sauces makes my meals taste better!)
✿Items to get before your trip✿
✦ Ultimate Water-Resistant Protective Raincoat Jacket! bit.ly/vlog1-protecivejacket
✦ Mini hot pot! bit.ly/vlog1-hotpot
Lastly, please note that these are based on my own personal experience. Please check your respective country's rules and regulations, perhaps by the time you travel, things have changed!
Hope that helps! :)
