Dr. George Tzanetakis is a computer scientist also involved with the departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and the School of Music, and he is a professor at the University of Victoria. In this video he explains his work extracting information from audio signals, such as analyzing music or killer whale sounds. He also explains the complexity of this work, particularily when a computer performs it.
