Michael O'Leary, Ryanair's chief executive, has called the new rule in which travellers must quarantine for 14 days after arriving in the UK "idiotic".
Mr O'Leary hit out at the plans claiming they are "completely non-science-based".
Instead, he called for other measures to be implemented, such as temperature checks and face masks.
