Make no mistake, reptiles are sentient beings, with feelings and emotions similar to mammals and birds. Just because we don't understand their expressions doesn't make their feelings/emotions any less valid. People tend to treat them badly and use "they don't have feelings" to make themselves feel better. That's wrong, and does the animals and themselves a disservice. This is Elian on an enrichment trip around the yard. He sees me and loves me, but he climbs the cage around inside to be able to get to Dad. Dad is the one who normally gives him his fun rides around 🤷🏼♂️😂❤️
