In this video, we will see how to make Makhane ki kheer. It is a porridge made of fox nut/Makhana. Makhana kheer is a dessert that is often made during Navratri fasting or mahashivratri vrat or Ekadasi fasting.
Ingredients:
Makhana/fox nut: 2 cups
Whole milk: 3 cups (750 ml)
Cashews: 10-15
Green cardamom seeds: from 4 cardamoms
Saffron: few pinches
Raisins: 1 tbsp
Sugar: 1/4 cup
Ghee: 2 tsp
Pistachios (chopped): for garnishing
