With the Pran Pratishtha done successfully on Monday, the new statue of Lord Ram will now be worshipped by the devotees. But the old idol, which is currently in an interim shrine will be moved in front of the new idol. This information was revealed by Govind Dev Giri, the treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He also added that the old statue is not visible from the necessary distance because of its size, hence a larger statue was necessary, adding that the old statue has immense importance.
