The Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin follows in the tracks of the CRF450R. The Africa Twin features the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), the most advanced seen to date. What separates this DCT from any seen before is this bike is tuned and built to tackle off-road riding. With this in mind the 'G' switch on the instrument panel improves traction and machine control by reducing the level of clutch slip during gearchanges. The DCT also helps detect when the bike is on a steep incline and holds onto gears longer for more engine braking on descents.
