In this tutorial, you’ll learn How to Stretch Videos in PowerPoint. I’m using the Microsoft Office 365 version of PowerPoint. In this demo, I will show you how to stretch a 4:3 aspect ratio video to a 16:9 aspect ratio video.
In a separate video I showed you how to do this using Movavi video editor. However, if you don’t have a video editor, you can use PowerPoint to accomplish this. In order to stretch a video , follow these steps:
(1) open a blank presentation in PowerPoint; (2) copy and paste the 4:3 aspect ratio MP4 video onto the blank slide; (3) reposition the video, so it’s on the center of the slide; (4) use the handles (on the video) on the left and right to slide them so it fits the slide; (5) click on the FILE menu and choose EXPORT; (6) next, choose CREATE A VIDEO; (7) choose a video resolution; (8) click on CREATE VIDEO; (9) choose a destination folder and name the video; (10) finally, click EXPORT.
