Electric Light Orchestra, released on the 1976 studio album A New World Record. The song, composed by Jeff Lynne, was also released as the album's fourth single, following "Livin' Thing", "Do Ya" and "Rockaria!" ».

The song reached the top ten of the charts in both the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number eight, and the United States, where it peaked at number seven. In 1977, the song reached number one on the Australian and Canadian singles charts. The US edition of the single, released on green vinyl, was the group's first to achieve gold record status.
