Asian consumers have different behavioural patterns than those from other parts of the world. In Asia, there is a fourth factor of ‘localisation’. Asian consumers consider how much they identify with the ingredient, linking purchase decisions to their own cultures. In fact, there is a preference for ‘local ingredients’.
