Welcome to another tech discussion episode. In this video we'll take a look at the various motherboard chipsets from AMD, the B550, X570 and the B450. We'll discuss the differences in the architecture of the B550 and the X570 and also shed some light on which model would be better suited for a PC build in a direct B550 vs X570 comparison.

The B550 and X570 have major differences in terms of the AMD Ryzen CPU support matrix and the PCIe generation used between the CPU and the chipset as well as the PCIe generation of the GPU slot. This video will be very useful if you're building a PC and for someone looking for information around the Ryzen CPU support on the various motherboard chipset versions and whether they'll get the best bang for their buck.

There are multiple B550 and X570 motherboard options available in the market with varying prices so one needs to choose wisely. The B550 motherboards have been released on the 16th of June 2020 and with the advent of newer mobos the previous gen B450 might see a price drop, I'm hinting but, this is mere speculation depending on supply and demand.
