I'd not run at Huddersfield parkrun for ages and I just needed a 9th run at Huddersfield and Fountains Abbey (I've currently run there 8 times) to increase my p-Index from 8 to 9. I headed over on a grey morning to run the Mario Kart course. It was Poppy's first time running Huddersfield parkrun as she was in a buggy last time we ran there!
Vlogging this parkrun really made me appreciate the beauty in the park and Poppy loved zooming around with a Mario Kart steering wheel. Happy memories parkrunning, although apologies to anyone who got hit with an imaginary shell or slipped on an imaginary banana skin!
We met the lovely Emily and Aaron visiting from Peel parkrun and it was so good to catch up with Victoria (VKP) and Family Pattison who I've known in parkrunworld for a really long time! I can't believe I've left it so long since I last visited. It's a fantastic parkrun and I'd highly recommend checking it out.
