Cascais Market
Cascais is a beautiful seaside resort just to the west of Lisbon in Portugal. It used to be a sleepy fishing village, but today it has grown into a bustling, vibrant town with an eclectic International mix of residents and visitors.
Twice a week, there is an amazing covered market offering everything from delicious fresh seafood, meat and vegetables all sourced locally, often from organic producers. The noise, energy and the smells of fresh cooking, brewed coffee and beautiful flowers all combine to make it a heady and magical place to shop.
In this video, I am going to share the joys of buying the most wonderful produce at low prices from smiling stall holders. At Cascais, the pleasure of shopping is as enjoyable as preparing the food and eating it with good friends at home.
