In this video we try painting chairs to make them look like leather. We recently came across this furniture flipping hack on @Lone Fox 's channel and thought we would try it ourselves! If you've been watching our channel for a while, you know that we love flipping things to make extra money. This project ended up being a lot more difficult than we had originally thought it would be. We ended up using WAY more paint than we thought we would and had to apply a total of 7 coats! That being said, the final product turned out awesome. Painting furniture can be a great way to upcycle it for flipping, but only if you buy the original piece at a very low price point. Painting takes a lot of time and reduces your hourly wage when calculating profit.
