This short video shows the very exact and rare moment that a World War II Soviet soldier's identification tag (known as a medallion) is found on the former battlefields of Stalingrad. The medallion consisted of a plastic tube containing a rolled up piece of paper on which the soldier's details were written. These tubes are only found with approximately 1% of the thousands of bodies that are still discovered every year.
