Watch my Bengaluru to Madurai bus journey by the latest Sutlej-built Eicher 13.5 meters AC Sleeper bus. This is the latest Sutlej S-1800 design body. This bus has a total of 36 sleeper berths. This Eicher bus is a 240 Horsepower, 5132 CC engine. This 13.5 meters bus is one of the latest chassis from Eicher. I had been waiting since long to do a bus journey by this bus. The bus livery is extremely beautiful and the bus itself looks very sturdy. In total Jabbar has bought four of these Eicher buses. These buses would be running on Bengaluru to Madurai & Bengaluru to Chennai routes. My bus was full on the inaugural run itself. The bus starts from Kalasipalya at 8:30 pm and then proceeds towards other pickup points. As this is a new bus it is speed locked ta 85 Kmph. There was some really nice scenery in the morning which you will see in this video. We also overtook few buses in spite of being locked. Had a good chase with Ambaari Utsav bus. The bus crew halted for two loo breaks during the journey. The bus crew was very supportive and kind. Our bus reached last stop i.e. Madurai Omni bus parking at 7:20 am, which was not bad considering its first trip.
