Loomigurumi Polar Bear design by me. Been a while since I posted, I just got busy with school but I'm back now. I was trying to think of winter/christmas designs I haven't made yet and I realized I haven't made a polar bear. I thought it would be fun to give him a scarf to make him extra wintery. There is a bit of attaching with this design but it isn't too bad. I really like this design and I hope you guys like this design too. Let me know if you have any other wintery design suggestions. Increase everything (8)
Increase every other (12)
6 rows normal (12)
Increase 3 in a row starting on the 5th (15)
4 rows normal (15)
Decrease every 3rd (11)
Decrease every other (7)
Decrease until closed
Legs
Stitch 6 times in a circle where you want the leg (6)
2 rows normal (6)
Decrease until closed
Repeat for other leg
Nose
Stitch 5 times in a circle where you want the nose (5) (I think the face looks cutest towards the top of the head. I put it a little low in the tutorial.)
Decrease until closed
Arms
Tripled cap band
4 stitches in cap band (4)
2 rows normal (4)
Decrease until closed and then use last band to tie into polar bear. tie other end of the arm down as well
Ears
3 bands wrapped 4 times
Pull a band through and tie into bear
Scarf
Tripled cap band
2 stitches in cap band (Turn)
Increase (Turn)
Repeat until scarf is desired length
Tie off and tie scarf to polar bear.
