After my first test of the Rapid Ceramic from Cerakote, a few people commented on the video (even a few chemists) and they noted that the organic protein that was in the Muscle Milk that i poured on to the Rapid Ceramic is why it was no longer beading water. Apparently when i used a higher PH soap to clean it off, I actually just spread the organic protein around and didn't actually remove it. Cerakote also personally reached out to me because they had done a bunch of tests on their own and never had the issue that presented itself to me. Their in house Chemist said the same thing about the protein still being on top of the coating and that the water was reacting to that instead of the coating.... all of that made sense to me, so I decided to re test it! I had noticed that the panel that wasn't touched by muscle milk in my first test was performing really well in real world conditions. So for the next test I decided to compare the Cerakote Rapid Ceramic to some of my other favorites: Technicians choice Ceramic Detail Spray and Turtle Wax Graphene Flex Wax. I was surprised by the results... ENJOY!!!
