Neurologic function stabilized in boys with cerebral adrenoleukodystrophy who received elivaldogene auotemcel, a novel lenti-D vector gene therapy, Florian Eichler, MD, associate professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School and director of the Center for Rare Neurological Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital reported at the Child Neurology Society annual meeting.
In a video interview with Temitayo Oyegbile-Chidi, MD, PhD, a clinical associate professor in the department of neurology at University of California, Dr. Eichler discusses his findings and how the gene therapy has changed the development of the boys with the X-linked metabolic disorder.
