Light therapy can assist with hyperbilirubinemia (manifested as jaundice) in newborns; however, using a specific and targeted wavelength (like those administered in a hospital) is much safer than the UV rays from the sun. I’m not quite sure what is being addressed in this video, but it’s important to practice caution with excessive sun exposure and babies 🙏🏼
