I found out about this song over the summer after it played as a suggestion, and I immediately fell in love with it. I knew Dion's earlier music very well, and have often performed the classic saxophone parts from songs like "Runaround Sue" and "The Wanderer" with cover bands, but somehow his 1975 album, "Born To Be With You," slipped by me.

The album combines great songs, Dion's legendary vocals, and Phil Spector's massive wall of sound production that I love so much. I listened to the album and this song in particular on repeat for weeks, and found out even the Arctic Monkeys had covered it too.

I find it ironic that my first Phil Spector cover doesn't feature the "wall of sound" as heard in my other videos, but instead a limited selection of instruments, including a beat up metal trash can. I hope you enjoy!
