Services at the Kenyatta National Hospital could shut down beginning Monday next week following a strike notice issued by three unions. The Kenya National Union of Nurses, Kenya Medical Practitioners, pharmacists and Dentists Union and the Kenya Union of Domestic, Hotels, Educational Institutions, Hospitals and Allied workers Unions are jointly demanding implementation of a salary increment promised to them. They are accusing SRC of being behind their woes maintaining the pay increase was approved by the state corporation advisory committee.
