한미, 20일 서울서 6자 수석대표 협의…북핵전략 논의
The chief nuclear envoys of South Korea and the U.S. will meet this week... to discuss measures against North Korea's provocations.
Seoul's foreign ministry says Lee Do-hoon -- the special representative for Korean Peninsula peace and security affairs -- will be sitting down with his American counterpart, Joseph Yun, in Seoul on Friday.
It will be their first face-to-face since Lee was appointed last month,... and the two are expected to exchange views on the security situation,... as well the possibility of further sanctions to curb the North Korean provocations.
Lee will also likely reiterate Seoul's stance that the North Korea issue must be handled diplomatically.
