Installed an Austar SCX10 style gearbox and 55T brushed motor combo and it's transformed the Outlaw in to a very capable crawler.
I was worried that the 55T might have been too slow on 2s but ut's about perfect with great slow speed control and enough wheelspeed when needed.
The stock wheels and tyres work quite well but I might try the HPI Rovers provided the rims clear the steering arms etc
