QUALICUM BEACH - Conservation Officers were called out to a Qualicum Beach rural neighborhood to search for a monkey.
On Sunday, Donna Wilson's kids saw a small furry little creature with a long red tail. "They didn't expect to see a monkey here on Settler Road," says Wilson.
The monkey was dashing in and out of driveways. The Wilson's called 911 and the RCMP called in the conservation officers. Two officers canvassed the area but could not find any trace of the primate.
Wilson believes the monkey is out there. The animal left its foot prints behind. The monkey was last seen running into the woods. If you spot the monkey you are urged to call the 24 hour RAPP 1-877-952-7277 line immediately.
