• For our comparison we tested ice water and a Picanha! Both read very close to the same temperatures. We thought both products felt good in our hands and worked as expected.
Summary: As far as how they worked and accuracy, both were quick reads, but the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 read slightly faster. We thought the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 had a few more features that would make the use easier. The large numbers and bright background made the reading easier. The 270 degree rotation probes made this easier to use. And the magnetic backing helps to keep this tool close to you, but can hang on the side metal shelf to stay out of the way. This also has a hold button.
The Thermapen One did have one advantage on the screen rotation, but since the FinalTouch had a nicer screen, this was not an advantage to the way I use the thermometer.
For the price and the features, the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 would be our pick!
