I enjoy using the Korg electribe 2 as a Groovebox however I wanted to venture into creating some new and interesting sounds from the machine. I decided to use the Octatrack and flood the Electribe with semi random generate midi notes to create interesting patterns.
Even if you don't have a hardware machine like the Octatrack you can program and send random patterns of midi from Ableton Live or any DAW to produce moments that are palatable, there will be train wrecks along the way though.
