I made this video about the 24K gold detector in October of 2018; just 25 days before the Deadly Camp-Fire destroyed our home and the towns of Paradise, Magalia, and Concow.
During this demonstration I did not use signal boost at all, and the gain was not up all the way as well. With signal boost on I can see the really tiny flakes very easily.
The Garrett 24K was originally the Goldmaster 24K developed by Whites Electronics in Sweet Home, Oregon. They closed their doors during the pandemic, and they were purchased by Garrett Metal Detectors of Texas.
The Goldmaster 24K is the first of the Whites line that Garrett is now producing. It is an outstanding detector for small gold and larger nuggets. It currently only comes with the one coil, and is very affordable. I am using the Whites version of the 24K in this video because it was prior to their closing their doors.
