The AITO M7, introduced in 2022 and proudly bearing the AITO brand, stands as a notable range-extended electric SUV, emblematic of forward-thinking automotive technology. This innovative creation is the result of the collaboration between AITO and Seres, a prominent Chinese car manufacturer. At its core lies a 1.5 L SFG15TR Turbocharged I4 engine, operating as a generator, fueled by petrol to extend the vehicle's range. Complementing this is an AC Synchronous Electric Motor/generator, utilizing SEP200 Asynchronous Electric technology, effectively propelling the front and rear wheels through HUAWEI DriveONE.

In terms of power output, the AITO M7 showcases impressive figures. The internal combustion engine delivers 90 kW (122 PS; 121 hp), while the rear-wheel drive (RWD) system harnesses a formidable 200 kW (272 PS; 268 hp). For the all-wheel-drive (4WD) variant, an astounding 330 kW (449 PS; 443 hp) power output takes center stage. The transition of this power is seamlessly managed through a single-speed automatic transmission, providing an effortless and efficient driving experience. Operating as a range-extended electric vehicle (REV), the AITO M7 is equipped with an 88 kWh Ternary Lithium-ion battery, fueling its remarkable electric range of 500 kilometers (310 mi) based on the NEDC standard and an impressive 1,000 kilometers (620 mi) under the EREV assessment.

Delving into the dimensions, the AITO M7 exhibits a balance of size and spaciousness. With a wheelbase spanning 2,820 mm (111.0 in), the vehicle achieves stability and comfort. Its length extends to 5,020 mm (197.6 in), providing ample room for passengers and cargo alike. The width measures at 1,945 mm (76.6 in), ensuring a substantial road presence, while the height stands at 1,775 mm (69.9 in), contributing to a distinctive and sleek profile.
