Dee and Shital Patel are multi-unit operators with The Learning Experience franchise in Connecticut. They got into franchising with TLE because they couldn't really find quality care for their 2 young kids. The first time they walked into a TLE, they just knew this was what they wanted to do.
Shital explains how it can be scary to open up your own franchise, especially when you have never been a business owner before. They opted into buying a franchise so they can have the right support and guidance through this new process.
Dee mentions that they chose TLE because every part of it is just magic. From the start at the entrance of the building, all the way until the end of their tour. They have also decided to keep reinvesting in TLE and become a multi-unit operator because TLE is truly a family. They are firmly aligned with everyone at TLE about the quality we provide.
TLE has a lot of system in place for franchisees, but Shital loves that TLE is constantly updating and involving franchisees for improvement. When she has given feedback, she has seen the results.
Dee also explains how they are surrounded by amazing people. From the corporate side to their individual team. Dee encourages other people to get into franchising with TLE because in the education space there is no one better. Dee believes that we are the best at delivering quality childcare so if somebody was looking for franchising, there is simply not a question.
During the pandemic, the guidance that they have received was just astonishing. The Patel's always tell each other "I don't know what we would have done without TLE."
Shital also advices new TLE franchises to simple follow the system - that's what helps them be successful. Your program is only as successful as your staff so they are very hands on by visiting all their centers weekly.
