The first ever successful atomic bomb test was performed in Los Alamos lab in the Jornada Del Muerto desert by Oppenheimer, General Leslie Groves and their teams which became known as the trinity test site. The trinity test concluded the Manhattan project led by J Robert Oppenheimer which saw the world’s first nuclear weapon come to life.
