📌Tehran market is an old historical market located in district 12 in the center of Tehran city. The bazaar is divided into several corridors over 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) long, each specializing in a variety of goods and also has several entrances, the main entrance being Sabzeh Maidan.

In addition to shops, Tehran market also has a mosque , guest house and bank . It has access to Tehran metro rapid transportation system through Khayyam and Panzdeh Khordad stations.
Tehran market was built in the Qajar period. It has an area of about 110 hectares and currently 70 thousand units are located there. [4] [5] Sir Thomas Herbert, in his travelogue in 1108 AH ( Safaviya period ), describes the markets of Tehran as having no roofs. [6] Among Tehran's bazaar, Bin-ul-Harameen Bazaar is one of the constructions of Mohammad Shah Qajar period and Amir Bazaar, Sarai Amir and Cobbler's Bazaar are constructions of Naser al-Din Shah period.
