this camera is crammed with a lot of tech inside a small package. there's not 1 but 2 cameras providing true 180 degrees of view. there is no way to sneak past this camera. the built in microphone and speaker is loud enough to provide 2 way audio or just eavedrop in any time. there are also the LEDs to illuminate at night time providing nice color instead of the usual black and white night time recording. Once you set up the camera, there are 4 ways to storing the video files. Amcrest gives you the ability to record onto the microSD card, FTP, NAS, and off course NVR. it is refreshing to have open standard like ONVIF and RTSP so the camera works with any NVR such as Amcrest or Blue Iris. No proprietary software is needed to view once the camera is setup on the local network. any program, like VLC, has no problem with viewing the RTSP feed. on the software side, i was able to set up the tripwire and human detection. facial recognition is available but i was not able to set that up. will try again in the future. upon tripwire or human detected i have the option of turning the LED light flashing or have the siren turned on. very slick of Amcrest to have so much feature in such a small IP camera!
